Our guestbook service has been terminated due to lack of resources on the servers of our former guestbook host. Unfortunately I was unable to retrieve the entries. I will be searching for a new guestbook service.

Shout box on the trek forum
Yes we know that the shout box isn’t working. Our premium service has expired and once upgraded, we can’t go back to the basic version unless we create a new account. Our site Commander in Chief Paul might renew our service, but if he decides not to, then we will create a new basic account.

Administrator Blue Star 14 Resigned
Former Administrator Blue Star 14 has resigned his commission and handed the U.S.S. Victory Star Trek Forum over to former Global Moderator Paul. Paul is now the owner of the entire ussvictory site. Also as result of the promotion, former Vice Administrator of the sci-fi forum bbbb has been promoted to Administrator.

Chat Room & Shout Box Secured
The side bar on the main site has finally been updated. It now links to the chat room and shout box pages instead of a post or a popup. Now that the update is complete, the chat room and shout box are secure. Only registered members will be able to access them. The new MOD is also installed on the sci-fi forum, and since non of it's pages are on the main site, its chat room and shout box are also secure.

Shout Box, and Chat Room Update
I’ve just completed a minor refit on the U.S.S. Victory Star Trek Forum’s chat room, and shout box sections. Instead of inserting the shout box code in a post, and the chat room code in a popup window, they will both have their own pages. I even added the Local/GMT clock so members in different time zones can schedule a time to chat. Everything should be up and running on the forum, although I still need to update the side bar on the main site. If all goes well on this forum, I’m planning on installing the MOD on the sci-fi forum as well.

A new MOD has been installed of both the trek, and sci-fi forums. It is a javascript that replaces the built-in ranking system we were using. I think I can safely say that all the bug have been worked out. The only difference you will notice is that the Moderators will only have their titles displayed in the forums that they moderate. Everywhere else, they will be on the normal ranking system.
